So Harry Reid makes some absolutely outrageous racist remarks about Obama, apologizes, is forgiven by Obama, and life is supposed to go on. Joe Biden insults Pakistanis and workers at 7/11’s, apologizes and that’s ok.  Sen Byrd is a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan but says he’s changed. Obama attends a racist church for twenty years but says he didn’t listen to the sermons.  What do these events have in common? Why they’re all democrats! Are Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton outraged? Haven’t heard anything yet. Is 60 minutes going to report on Harry Reid? Nope.   Unbelievably, the head of the democrat national committee today said Reid’s remarks were in a positive context!!!!! These people are  so hypocritical they don’t even know how stupid they appear; But we do.

Look at how a republican was  treated in similar circumstances. Trent Lott was hounded out of his senate leadership position because he made congratulatory birthday comments to someone who was a segregationist decades ago. Although he apologized, it wasn’t good enough for the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama. Lott was hounded out. He never said a black man didn’t sound  like a negro unless he wanted to, which is what Reid said about Obama. But that apparently is OK. SO if you are a closet racist, become a democrat. Apparently there”s room for you in their big tent.

April 15th is just around the corner and if you are like me, you have either filed your taxes or are about to. In either case, we were brought up with the quaint notion that it was the law and that we had to. Obviously we were misguided republicans because yet another Obama cabinet nominee just realized she owed an additional $7k in back taxes.   Lets see, we have  Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner,  HHS nominee Tom Daschle,  Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, now Gov Sibelius of Kansas all not understanding that it is their obligation to get this right.  Yet they get a pass. 

Sibelius excuse was that they were unintentional errors.  If this were you or me we would be hung by the IRS from the highest derelict oil drilling rig!  It is clear those on the left have a holier than though, elitist  attitude. Rules don’t apply to them. They can make restrictive , inane  laws, but they don’t have to abide by them. 

 My guess is that Sibelius will be exonerated by the congressional committees reviewing her nomination. After all it was an honest unintentional mistake by a democrat. Try that when you get called in by the IRS auditors and let me know how it goes. I promise to visit you at the federal correction complex in Florence Colorado  at least once a week.

Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Michele Obama, Barney Frank, Al Franken, Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer… Oh what the heck, lets just put the whole democratic party on my list.
