Help! We need Austin Powers immediately. The president has lost his Mojo! Perhaps Glen Beck took it or maybe it was Sarah Palin , but it sure isn’t there now.  Tonight’s speech from the oval office , if you happened to watch it was pathetic. This was his second pathetic speech from the oval office, his first egg was his health care tutorial. He has failed now twice and boy is he depressing.  I haven’t seen him excited since the Ramadan dinner where he came out for the NY mosque, before he was against it, after he was for it.

Remember the youthful enthusiastic guy who was going to bring us hope and change and candy canes and happiness? Seems like the life is sucked out of him. So we need Austin Powers to find out where it went, and fast.  If anyone sees Obama’s Mojo, please inform this writer and we will ensure it makes it back to its rightful owner.

In  happier news, Lisa Murkowski just conceded the Alaska primary race to Joe Miller, a relative unknown backed by Sarah Palin . Murkowski, while a republican, was part of the problem and not the solution. Miller is a West Point grad and a decorated combat vet from the first Gulf War. He appears to be an honorable guy.  Washington is broken and that message is clear throughout the country.  Can’t wait till November!

There’s a lot that Idon’t care for about this current administration: arrogance, egotism,  thuggery, and a disregard for the wishes of the vast majority of the American public. But what probably bothers me more than anything is their brazen lying to the public.

I understand spinning and trying to put the best face on things, but too often these people are caught in outright lies and think nothing of just ignoring it. Most recently, the administration was bemoaning the Scottish release of the Lockerbie bomber.  They claimed they were surprised by this. Then it turns out the State Department had indicated to the Scots that it would prefer the bomber be released to  being imprisoned in Libya. They lied to the American people! Where is the indignation?

When the president or one of his lackeys appear on a talk show, you know you are in for an education right out of 1984. Up is down, black is white, the economy is getting better, jobs are saved, the Arizona immigration law is racist,  people should be thankful for how much better they have it… and on and on.  It is like one is in a dreamworld. Never have I seen such outright brazen manipulation of the truth. And never have I seen the mainstream media accept it so willingly.  That my friends is a disgrace and a crime.   Recent statements by the president and the press secretary give credence to the old joke, How can you tell they are lying? When their lips are moving.  So sad. November is just around the corner.

Last week Jon Voight wrote an open letter to the president that was published in several newspapers. It is a stunning indictment and very straightforward.  Whether you like Jon Voight or not, he makes very powerful points.

  Much is happening in Washington this week: the Kagan hearings, the finance bill, who will replace Robert Byrd among them. Pay attention, as this administration is working hard to impose its very liberal views on every aspect of our lives. Voight had to speak out. We do too. Please read his comments.

President Obama:

You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone’s enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm’s way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.

You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.

You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.
