Is Nothing Sacred?

by on Jan.09, 2011, under Politics

The title of this blog is perhaps a rhetorical question when it comes to how low the liberal establishment will go :  Nothing IS sacred.  Not even the senseless shootings in Arizona that killed six and left many wounded including a young congresswoman.  This is a sad event and we all pray for the victims. However, never let a tragedy go by without  the liberal elites politicizing it. Today we had a stream of talking heads blaming the shootings  on the following:  the horrible political discourse and climate  in this country, talk radio, the tea party, Sarah Palin, conservatives, and gun rights advocates. Of course it could not be the result of a crazed moron?

Oddly enough when the massacre happened at Ft Hood earlier this year and the perpetrator praised Allah before he began shooting, we were told by none other than the president not to jump to conclusions or blame this on religious extremism.  So what is the difference today?  Clearly for the democrats they think they can score political points out of this tragedy. How slimy and hypocritical they are.  While the shooting was still being sorted out I was stunned to see the president sending the head of the FBI to Arizona to take charge of the investigation. Talk about overreaction!

The liberal democrats and their media allies are working overtime to smear good people over this incident. They disgust me.

I should be sad today because of the idiotic ruling on the Arizona immigration law by an unelected Clinton appointee.  Actually , I am disappointed and angry, However I see this latest slap in the face of common sense a call to action to millions of Americans who are fed up to here with liberal activism and the Obama agenda.  Hope and change have sent  this country  reeling economically, politically, and socially.  We are cutting NASA, the military, funding unions, propping up corrupt enterprises in congress and doing it in the name of the people.  What a joke.

This administration is the worst I have ever seen and they have no shame.  For example,  Tomorrow, the president will be on “the View” showcasing  and trumpeting his common man style and dazzling the media with his  eloquence. Actually, I think this is getting old and the American people arent buying it anymore.  But , some people continue to buy into his radical agenda.  I don’t.

And while I should be sad, I am happy that this latest affront will energize the populace to vote out this infestation we have in congress in November. How much more insulting can these liberals be? Just remember this when November comes around. They want total power; even states like Arizona are targets of this regime. And if they can beat up on a state, imagine what they will do to us?

Los Suns

by on May.06, 2010, under Politics, Sports

Wow. it is good to be back! As Pat wrote, the whole link went down on Sunday and it took several days to get it sorted out. Even so, previous entries are corrupted by idiot symbols throughout. Hopefully that can be fixed this weekend. In the meantime, we have much to address. Top of the list however is the moronic spectacle of the Phoenix basketball team renaming themselves  “Los Suns” to show their support for the  illegal immigrant community. First of all, there is not a sport I care less about than basketball. Could it be more monotonous? Secondly, the NBA obviously  believes that it is more than a sport, it is a barometer of society. So would that be violence, drugs,  guns in locker rooms, cheating referees,  a sport where no one can really tell you what is a foul, spoiled players, egos bigger than Barack Obama, bling, hip hop, etc? Well now we have the conscience of America as portrayed by Los Suns getting involved in Arizona politics.

I don’t know about you , but I  look to sports to be apolitical. I don’t want my sporting teams to get involved in politics. They are athletes! It is entertainment and recreation. For Gods sake leave it alone! But they won’t, and tonight’s spectacle only reinforces how pompous and self absorbed these owners and players are to think that their opinion matters. Dream on Los Suns and ditch the Jerseys. No one cares what you think.

When you start to have open admission to all the games with no restrictions and no tickets ( like our border) then maybe I will take you seriously. Until then,  you are on an ego trip of self delusion. I think that is a foul even an NBA ref could see.
