Immigration and Race
by Jim on Apr.26, 2010, under Politics
In reaction to Arizona’s strict new immigration enforcement law, the President declared it misguided and instructed the justice department to see if it’s legal. This same justice department that won’t investigate or provide information on  black militant thugs at voting sites in Chicago in 2008.
Then we have Al Sharpton, the president’s “conduit to the street” planning on leading protests in Phoenix. I dont knolw about you , but those are streets I dont want to be on. Now Al, the judge of all things correct, ( Tawana Brawley, Williamsburg Heights ) has surely told the president that the Arizona law is an affront to minorities. This, notwithstanding the fact that the federal government has pretty much abdicated enforcement on the borders.
So we have a president  going up against a state on an issue of extreme importance to the state. I also understand he will attempt to rally his coalitions to make this a race issue. How sad. Once again he is using race as a political tool . I have to say that far from being a healer and unifier, that in my opinion this president is the most racially charged president we have ever seen. His worldview must have been so deformed and perverted by his upbringing and liberal/radical education, that everything is seen as a race issue. Sometimes there are other factors: crime, national security, economics, safety. But no, he and Sharpton  will attempt to demonize Arizona as racist for enforcing a law that the federal government has seen fit to ignore.
As an aside, several legislators in Illinois have put in a request to the governor to call in the national guard to imporove security on the streets of Obama’s own Chicago. It seems the murder rate and violence are out of control and may be too much for the police to handle. I wonder if this will be a race issue as well?
